A very good soft molasses cookie with just the right amount of spice......baking method is a secret...but I'll tell YOU!!

Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup molasses

Directions
  1. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and ginger together.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs and molasses.
  4. Add flour mixture and stir well
  5. Have all ingredients at room temperature and cookie sheets HOT!!!
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or less.
  7. Makes 4 dozen depending on the size.
