How to make it

  • Sweat onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic in a saute pan with the butter and 1 teaspoon salt. Add Emeril's for the last 30 seconds of cooking.
  • Brown ground chuck and drain.
  • In a large bowl combine beef, mac & cheese, sauted veggies mix well.
  • in a 13 X 9 pan, layer as follows: Beef Mixture, Sour Cream and onion Chips, 1/3 of the cheese, Beef Mixture, Doritos, 1/3 of the cheese, Beef Mixture, Fritos, Remainder of the cheese.
  • Bake in 325 degree oven until cheese is bubbly.
  • Let rest about 10 minutes... enjoy!

    You know what? This sounds like it would taste amazing! If I can ever afford to buy another bag of chips (like $3.50 a bag now) then I will have to try this! Straight to the saves...--Kn0x--

    Let's see, two different corn chips. That counts as two veggies as far as my husband is concerned! I may have to make this with a good healthy salad on the side for the kids!!

    LOL..I love that..feeds 2 teenagers or 6 adults...so true, isn't it? I'll have to try this..see if my picky 16-year old will like it! I know I will...lol :)
