my version of a favorite burger of mine from a local bar

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 pkg of onion soup mix
  • 1 pkg bleu cheese crumbled
  • 8-12 strips bacon

Directions
  1. mix ground beef and onion soup mix
  2. divide into 4-6 servings (depending on how big you want your burgers!)
  3. create a "pocket" in the ground beef and tuck bleu cheese inside
  4. flatten patty and make sure cheese is sealed inside
  5. wrap two pieces of bacon around each patty
  6. place on grill and cook to desired doneness
