Chicken And Rice Bake Recipe
This dish is easy, and full of flavor! The milk adds a great touch to the flavor of the rice with the spices! A real hit with my family!

Ingredients
  • 1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 1/2-4lb) - Or, I have used 6 chicken thighs
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbls vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 1/3 cups H20 (water!)
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning ( I have also used italian seasoning)
  • Crazy Janes Mixed up salt (1/2 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Directions
  1. Dredge chicken pieces in flour. In a large skillet, brown chicken on all sides in oil over medium heat
  2. In a large bowl, combine the next seven ingredients. Pour into a greased 13x9x2 in baking dish. Top with chicken
  3. Cover lightly with foil, and bake for 55 minutes or until rice and chicken are tender
  4. Eat and enjoy!
