Frosty Peanut Butter Pie Recipe
What I love about these frozen desserts is that they can be made a week ahead of time or more from when you need them! This one is peanutty!

Ingredients
  • Crust:
  • 6 tbsp. Butter or hard margarine
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. Icing sugar
  • Filling:
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
  • 3 tbsp. Finely chopped peanuts

Directions
  1. Crust:
  2. Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium. Remove from heat. Add wafer crumbs and icing sugar. Stir well. Reserve 2 tbsp. For topping. Press firmly in bottom and up side of 9 “ pie plate Bake in 350 F oven for 10 minutes Cool.
  3. Filling:
  4. Mash first amount of ice cream and peanut butter in large bowl. Gently fold in second amount of ice cream.
  5. Fold in Cool Whip and peanuts. Spread evenly in crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Freeze, covered, until firm. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting Cuts into 8 wedges.

Right up my alley! I like easy-bake stuff. Don't know why I will cook dinners that are fairly complicated, but when it comes to baking desserts, I just won't do it. This is doable. Thanks.
