How to make it

  • bring water, sugar, mint, zest and juice to boil.
  • Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Strain mixture through cheesecloth and allow to cool.
  • Add 18 oz coconut rum and refrigerate.
  • For each serving: Fill a glass with ice (crushed if available) add 2.5 oz of mojito mix. Top off with club soda and stir.
  • Will keep, covered, in the refrigerator for several days
  • This is great for summer!

    Just sent this off to my Daughter.. We love these Mojitos.. and I have the mint growing on the porch.. I think it is spearmint.. that work?
