Unique recipe for macaronic and cheese. My family alwys loved this. One can also add other cheese to the recipe besides cheddar

Ingredients
  • 1 lb box macaroni or other small pasta
  • 4 eggs or two jumbo eggs
  • 1 qt milk
  • 2 cups or more if desired rough shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika

Directions
  1. Cook macaroni and drain.
  2. Butter a 2 qt deep dish casserole.
  3. Layer in some macaroni.
  4. Add some cheese and reapeat layers to 2 inches from top of dish
  5. Mix mix and eggs together and season with some salt and pepper.
  6. Pour carefully over macaroni making sure some settles into macaroni and cheese layers
  7. Sprinkle top with paprika.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350 oven until set, about 35 to 40 minutes.
