Butter Pecan Sauce

- 1/2c butter,cubed shopping list
- 3/4c sugar shopping list
- 1/4c lt. corn syrup shopping list
- 1c heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1c chopped pecans,toasted shopping list
- 1/2tsp vanilla shopping list
- vanilla ice cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a large heavy saucepan cook butter over medium heat 4-6 mins or until golden brown. Stir in sugar and corn syrup;cook and stir for 2 mins. or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat;gradually stir in the cream
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cook until sauce begins to thicken. Remove from the heat. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. Yield: 2 cups
