Ingredients
  • RELISH
  • 1 large Cucumber, peeled, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion. minced
  • 2 Tbsp fresh Lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp fresh Parsley , minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chutney. (Major Grey's is great)
  • MEATBALLS
  • 1 pound ground Beef
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans diced Green Chilies (Ortega Chilies, In can)
  • 1 small,Onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup Mashed Potatoes(Important, Do Not leave out)!
  • 1 1/2salt Salt
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Pita Breads, cut in half

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine ALL ingredients for Relish (Except) Chutney
  2. Set Aside.
  3. In another medium bowl, combine the ground Beef, Chilies, Onion, Egg, Potatoes, Salt and Curry powder.
  4. Shape into 1 inch balls and flatten slightly.
  5. Place on a baking sheet (with sides) to catch grease, and Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes, or until brown.
  6. STUFF 3 to 4 meatballs into each Pita half.
  7. Add Relish on top that includes the Chutney!
