Curry Meatball Pita

- relish shopping list
- 1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup red onion. minced shopping list
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice shopping list
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley , minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup chutney. (Major Grey's is great) shopping list
- meatballs shopping list
- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies (Ortega Chilies, In can) shopping list
- 1 small,Onion, minced shopping list
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes(Important, Do Not leave out)! shopping list
- 1 1/2salt salt shopping list
- 1 tsp curry powder shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 3 pita breads, cut in half shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, combine ALL ingredients for Relish (Except) Chutney
- Set Aside.
- In another medium bowl, combine the ground Beef, Chilies, Onion, Egg, Potatoes, Salt and Curry powder.
- Shape into 1 inch balls and flatten slightly.
- Place on a baking sheet (with sides) to catch grease, and Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes, or until brown.
- STUFF 3 to 4 meatballs into each Pita half.
- Add Relish on top that includes the Chutney!

We are just starting to play with curry. I know it has been around forever and a day, but we live in Kansas and they are just beginning to debate that new fangled idea called evolution! Recipe sounds great and I look forward to trying it.
