Simple Hollandaise Sauce Recipe
This is a simple Hollandaise Sauce. Great on Eggs Benedict and great on vegetables. Easy.

Ingredients
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • pinch dry mustard
  • pinch of cayenne

Directions
  1. In sauce pan melt butter or can use microwave
  2. In blender place other ingredients
  3. With blender turned on, slowly dribble the melted butter down the hole in top
  4. When nice and thick, serve immediately OR
  5. Can be kept in refrigerator, and if it thickens more, add a little warm water before heating slowly to serve

Ohh I would love to try this easy version - have you had much success with this? I have been aching for some good eggs benedict for weeks now...


This works best if the butter is boiling.
