Sweet Potato Pie. It doesn't get much more classic than this. If you've never had it, you owe it to yourself. Of course, make your own pastry as well.

I use much more sugar ........a cup or more per pie nutmeg,vanilla exact....whole eggs.....stick of butter....cinninamon....half a cup of milk

This recipe looks like one where you really taste the sweet potato, and not one where the sweet potato is a stand-in for pumpkin. Very interesting, almost savory.
