How to make it

  • In a Dutch oven or any large pot with a cover combine sausage, sweet potatoes, 1/4 C broth, thyme, and pepper.
  • Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring ocassionally, until potatoes are just fork tender (8 to 10 minutes)
  • Stir in remaining broth and all other ingredients
  • Cover and cook, stirring ocassionally, intil vegetables are crisp tender (4 to 6 minutes)
