Ingredients

1 box family size brownie mix

1/2 cup cooking oil

1/4 cup water ( I use 1/4 cup amaretto)

2 eggs (use 3 eggs for cake like brownies)

1 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

Combine brownie mix, oil, amaretto, eggs and almond extract in a large bowl; stir 50 strokes with a large wooden spoon. Spread in a prepared 13 x 9 pan, I use non stick cooking spray.

Bake at 350 degrees for 28 - 30 minutes. For a dark coated pan bake at 325 degrees.

Cool completely and frost with chocolate amaretto butter cream frosting.
