- Pan Type: 9 x 9 cake pan shopping list
- 3/4 cup Hershey's baking cocoa shopping list
- 2/3 cup butter - melted shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 cup boiling water shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup ecan pieces shopping list
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips shopping list
- Nonstick pan spray shopping list
- Layer 2 shopping list
- 1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese Softened shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons butter, softened shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 - 14 ounce can Eagle Brand milk shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa shopping list
- 6 Tablespoons butter, softened shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Oven. Grease Pan.
- Layer 1
- In a large mixing bowl combine the cocoa, butter, baking soda and boiling water.
- Add the sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla and salt and beat well. Spread in pan.
- Sprinkle the brownies with the nuts and chocolate chips.
- Layer 2
- In a large mixing bowl cream the softened cream cheese, butter and cornstarch until fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk gradually and beat well. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until smooth. Pour over top of brownie mixture evenly. Place in hot oven and bake for the allotted time. Remove from oven to wire racks to cool completely before frosting.
- Frosting
- In a large mixing bowl combine the powdered sugar and cocoa. Add the softened butter, milk and vanilla, beat well and spread over cooled brownies.
- Note: If pressed for time you may use a family size brownie mix and mix according to package directions.
- Top with the nuts and chocolate chips.
- Then proceed to second layer directions.
- Serves: 12
