Cherry Nut Bars Recipe

How to make it

  • In 3 qt mixer bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, pecans, soda and butter
  • Mix at low speed scraping sides until crumbly, 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Reserve 1 1/2 cup crumb mixture for topping.
  • Press crumb mixture evenly into 13x9x2 pan.
  • Bake near center of oven for 12 to 15 min.or until lightly browned at edges.
  • Gently spoon pie filling evenly over crust, sprinkle with marshmellows and crumb mixture.
  • Return to oven for 25 -35 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool and cut into bars
