Kentucky Ham With Apples

KENTUCKY HAM WITH APPLES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Leggett Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1996.
Ingredients
- 1 ham shopping list
- 1 pound brown sugar shopping list
- 6 apples peeled and quartered shopping list
- 1 pint cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/3 cup prepared mustard shopping list
- 2/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- Sherry shopping list
- whole cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together mustard, brown sugar and enough sherry wine to make a paste the thickness of marmalade. Spread evenly over fatty portion of ham then spike with cloves and bake at 350 with apples until crust is well browned basting occasionally with the drippings.
