  • SPRINKLE POWDERED SUGAR AFTER DONE.

    I may have to try this. It sounds more like a cobbler than a cake. If you use a self-rising flour that would expalin why no soda or BP.

    Good Morning Haiwaiinbreezes! I usually add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to my apple cake and I hope I have been of some help. Great "5" fork recipe and my family and I love apple cake!

    I don't remember using either one of them. I may have omitted that part out by accident when typing. I'll find the original recipe and see if I missed something.
