Ingredients

1 pkg. (1 lb, 2 oz.) chocolate sandwich cookies, divided

i pkg. (8-oz.) cream cheese, softened

2 pkg. (8-oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted

Directions

Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in blender, reserve for later use.

Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs, place in a medium bowl.

Add cream cheese, mix until well blended.

Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls about 1" in diameter.

Dip balls in chocolate, place on waxed paper covered baking sheet.

Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.

Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.

I made these today and they are tasty but I changed them up a little. Because it is hot here already in Kansas, I did not cover them with chocolate. Instead I just rolled them in cookies crumbs. I was thinking they would melt to quickly in this heat.
