Pineapple And Sticky Macadamia Nuts Panini

Dont be fooled by the grown up sounding title this is not an adult dessert..........its for the kids in us...lol COURTESY JO MCAULEY
Ingredients
- 4 pineapple rings in juice ( drained) shopping list
- 4 slices of panettone shopping list
- 1/3 cup mini-marshmallows shopping list
- 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, crushed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar shopping list
- powdered sugar to decorate shopping list
How to make it
- Pat the pineapple dry on paper towels and arrange them on two slices of panettone.
- scatter with the marshmellows and crushed macadamia nuts and sprinkle with the vanilla sugar.
- top with remaining two slices of panettone bread.
- toast in a sandwich grill for 2 to 3 minutes, according to your grill , until bread is golden and the marshmallows are beginning to melt.
- slice each sandwich into small rectangles and dust with powdered sugar.
- serve immed
- serves 2
