New Orleans Oyster Poboy

- 12 inch piece of crusty French bread, toasted shopping list
- mayonnaise shopping list
- lemon shopping list
- Fresh Fried oysters (see recipe) shopping list
- lettuce or cabbage, shredded shopping list
- tomato, sliced shopping list
- Cocktail sauce if desired. See Note: shopping list
How to make it
- Split 12 inch crispy French Bread
- Lightly toast
- Slater Mayonnaise on both sides
- Top with fried Oysters (see recipe)
- Squeeze lemon juice over oysters.
- Top with shredded letuce and tomato.
- Note: Some prefer a red cocktail
- sauce with ketchup, horseradish and drop of Worcestershire and squeeze of lemon.
