Unique Stuffed Ripe Olives Recipe
UNIQUE STUFFED RIPE OLIVES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Witherspoon Estate in Denton, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 6 ounces jumbo ripe olives canned and pitted
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 bunch green onions

Directions
  1. Drain olives and marinate at room temperature in dressing for one hour.
  2. Turn often to coat all sides.
  3. Cut green onions into 1" pieces then slash one end of each piece to make a fringe.
  4. Soak onions in ice water while olives are marinating then drain onions and olives.
  5. Stuff each olive with an onion fringe end sticking out.
