City Chicken

- 2 lb veal, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes (they also sell "city chx cubes in the meat section in some places) shopping list
- 1 cup fine cracker crumbs (i used saltine and grinded them in chopper) shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt (which i dont use) shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika or cayenne pepper shopping list
- 3/4 tsp poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 egg slightly beaten shopping list
- 2 tbsp milk shopping list
- 1 chicken bouillon cube shopping list
- olive oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse meat
- Thread meat cubes on 6 short skewers
- Combine crumbs and seasonings
- Combine egg and milk
- Dip meat in egg mixture, then crumbs
- Brown on all sides in hot cooking oil
- Dissolve boullion cube in 1/2 cup water
- Transfer browned meat to small baking dish, pour chicken boullion over meat
- Cover and bake @ 350 for 45 minutes
- Uncover and bake for 30
- * the last time i made this, i forgot the oven temp, and put it on 450 degrees and covered. baked for about 30 minutes and it was done and was still yummy.*
