Sweet Onion Macaroni

This was an experiment that i tried out. At first it tasted odd, but with a bit of work it tasted perfect! i'm proud of myself for it! hope u enjoy! :D P.s. this dish isn't that healthy 4 u!
Ingredients
- 500ml Woolworth’s tomato and basil based sauce shopping list
- 500ml Woolworth’s cheese sauce shopping list
- 500g macaroni shopping list
- 3 white onions shopping list
- 3 tsp brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp garlic shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup cheddar or edam cheese, grated shopping list
- spices(if u don’t have any of these don’t worry, just make up ur own spices): shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- garlic + herb shopping list
- rosemary + olive shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- cajun spice shopping list
How to make it
- Chop onions into rings. Keep the inside to-tiny-to-use rings, u will use them later.
- Put a respective amount of olive oil in a pan. Add onions, sugar and garlic. Let it simmer until well caramelised. Put onions onto a side dish.
- Make macaroni by following the packet instructions.
- Prepare cheese sauce. Then add: paprika, pepper, garlic + herbs.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Layer a casserole dish like this: 1/3 tomato sauce, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 macaroni, 1/2 cheese sauce, 1/2 onions, 1/3 tomato sauce, 1/2 macaroni, 1/2 cheese sauce, 1/2 onions.
- On top of these layers make a border with the rest of the cheese.
- Fill the border with the remaining tomato sauce ad put onion middles on top - raw.
- Use all spices on top to taste.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Enjoy tremendously!!! u deserved it!!!!!!! : )

I haven't seen Woolworth's brand in the states, but I have an idea what to substitute with. This sounds wonderful!
