Spice Mix For Meat Fish And Eggs
From lunchboxer 16 years agoIngredients
- The portions depend on the size of shaker bottle you want to fill, so adjust accordingly: shopping list
- 1 part garlic powder or granulated garlic shopping list
- 1 part onion powder or granulated onion shopping list
- 1 part chopped dried parsley shopping list
- 1 part chopped dried dill shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl, then fill your shaker bottle (I use empty spice bottles from the store).
- I specifically omitted any salt, because it often isn't even missed with such a blend of flavors, and because we use very little salt, anywayz!
- Sprinkle on fresh or frozen salmon or any meat, bake according to package directions.
- Sprinkle on fried, scrambled eggs, omelets, anywhere you want to flavor a savory dish.
- Great as a decorative topper on a casserole, potato salad, slaws, etc. -- Use your imagination with this one.
- If you add another herb or spice, I'd love to hear about it.

I don't usually buy the commercial versions because of the insainly high salt content. Anyhow, I'll put some of this together and give it a try. It'll be heaps convienient to have a one shaker seasoner! I'm right onto this one. Thanks.
