Lemon-Ginger Ricotta Cheese Cake

- 2 lbs ricotta cheese shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup flour shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 2 tsp lemon zest shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tsp grated ginger (powder will work though) shopping list
- You can also substitute Amaretto for the lemon, vanilla and ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees
- Butter a spring-form /cheese cake pan
- Put the flour in the pan and cover the bottom and sides, sticking the flour to the butter
- Mix the ricotta, eggs, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla, salt and ginger until smooth
- pour the batter into the buttered/floured pan
- Bake for an hour or so until it turns a golden brown
