How to make it

  • Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees
  • Butter a spring-form /cheese cake pan
  • Put the flour in the pan and cover the bottom and sides, sticking the flour to the butter
  • Mix the ricotta, eggs, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla, salt and ginger until smooth
  • pour the batter into the buttered/floured pan
  • Bake for an hour or so until it turns a golden brown
