Low Fat Alfredo Sauce Recipe

A simple way to make your own alfredo sauce out of ingredients most of us already have in our kitchen cabinets and fridge!

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- Pinch nutmeg
- 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 c. low fat milk
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Add flour; cook, stirring, 1 minute.
- Whisk in milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Bring to a boil, whisking; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese (I actually added a cup instead of 3/4 c)
- Pour over fettuccine and enjoy!
