Blue Blazin Toasted Muffins

- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature shopping list
- 2 ounces Maytag blue cheese, room temperature shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cognac (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced green onion shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil shopping list
- cayenne to taste shopping list
- English muffins shopping list
- ripe olive slices for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Mix butter and blue cheese together.
- Add the cognac, Parmesan, walnuts, green onions, basil and cayenne and mix well
- Lightly toast the muffin halves, spread with cheese mix, top with a ripe olive slice and stick under the broiler until lightly browned.

Oh, honey, I make a dip with blue cheese and nuts that is so close to this, I know this is terrific. Love he combination of flavors and this would be a great nibble with drinks.
