How to make it

  • Saute mushrooms in 1 T. butter. Set aside.
  • Dissolve 2 beef boullion cubes in 1/2 c. hot water. Melt 1/2 stick of butter and whisk in 2 T. flour, 1/8 t. salt, and pepper. Add 1/2 c. cream and boullion to flour & butter mixture. Cook until it thickens.
  • Butter casserole dish and put in mushrooms; pour cream sauce over all.
  • Blend bread crums and parmesan & then sprinkle over mushrooms. Baks at 350 for 30 minutes until browned and bubbly.
  • Easily doubles or tripes.
