Cream Cheese Finger Cookies

This is a 2001 Taste of Home Recipe.....These make cute little cookies for company or just to have. This recipe makes 2 dozen....They remind me alot of Pecan Sandies. Picture from Dodge Jamie Blogspot...
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (no substitutes) shopping list
- 4 oz cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
- Confectioners sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese.
- Beat in vanilla.
- Combine the flour, sugar and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in pecans. (dough will be crumbly)
- Shape tablespoons into 2 inch logs.
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375 for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Roll warm cookies in confectioners sugar; cool on wire racks.
- Yield: 2 dozen
