Good anytime. We like this with pork roast as well as turkey.

Ingredients
  • 3 c mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/3 c milk
  • Topping mix:
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 c chopped nuts(optional)
  • 1/3 c flour
  • 1/3 c butter(softened)

Directions
  1. Cook sweet potatoes in water until soft.
  2. Peel skin and mash the potatoes while still warm.
  3. Add the sugar, vanilla, butter and milk to potatoes and mix well.
  4. Place potato mix in a oven casserole dish.
  5. Mix brown sugar, nuts, flour and butter and sprinkle over the top of the potatoes.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
