How to make it

  • Melt butter in a 2 quart Pyrex baking dish or casserole
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, and milk
  • Mix well
  • Pour into butter in baking dish
  • Stir gently
  • In another bowl, toss peaches with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar
  • Add the peaches carefully to batter, DO NOT STIR
  • Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes or until golden brown
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
