sweet and sour sauce for chicken nuggets or meat

one of my favorite sauces. can be frozen and goes with chicken nuggets, meat and any chicken
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 cup vinegar shopping list
- 3/4 cup cold water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 1/4 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cornflour shopping list
- -1/4 cup cold water shopping list
How to make it
- combine all but cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water and bring to boil
- simmer for 2-3 min.
- dissolve cornstarch in cold water and stir into sauce
- simmer till thick, constantly stirring
- cool and store in tightly closed jar
- serve hot
