How to make it

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Prepare pie crust according to package directions for filled one-crust pie using 9-inch pie pan. (Refrigerate remaining crust for a later use.)
  • In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix well.
  • Spoon into pastry-lined pan.
  • In a medium bowl, blend all topping ingredients together with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle over filling.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
  • I cover the edge of crust with strips of foil after about 15-20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning
