Sloppy Joes Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

1/2 red pepper, finely chopped

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup barbeque sauce (I like spicey)

1/4 cup water

1 clove garlic minced

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

2 Tablespoon vinegar

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 Tablespoon mustard

1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp celery seed

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a frying pan, brown ground beef , onion, garlic and red pepper. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Serve hot on toasted buns.
