Sloppy Joes Recipe

	Godiva / All my dishes 2 years, 6 months ago I combined a couple of different recipes to come up with this version. My family loves it and will never have to have Sloppy Joes from a can again. lol Prep:10m Cook:15m Servings:6	Godiva

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

1/2 red pepper, finely chopped

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup barbeque sauce (I like spicey)

1/4 cup water

1 clove garlic minced

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

2 Tablespoon vinegar

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 Tablespoon mustard

1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp celery seed

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a frying pan, brown ground beef , onion, garlic and red pepper. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Serve hot on toasted buns.

I have a recipe very similar to this that uses
1-1/2 cans tomatoes, the rest the same. I just fixed it last week, and we really enjoyed it. Good post!
