Ingredients
  • Slices of Bread, crust removed
  • 3 or 4 cups chicken (white meat) cubed
  • 4 oz can mushrooms drained
  • 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 oz chopped pimento
  • Slices of American cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepperidge Farm Herb stuffing mix
  • Butter

Directions
  1. Layer the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan or glass dish with slices of bread. Add layer of chicken, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
  2. Mix together: cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, mayo and pimento. Pour over chicken and top with slices of American cheese.
  3. Beat 2 eggs, milk and salt. Pour over everything and refrigerate overnight. Bake 350 (325 for glass) for 1 hour and 15 minutes
  4. Sprinkle with Pepperidge farm Herb stuffing mix and dot with butter.
  5. Bake another 15 minutes
