Potluck Chicken

- Slices of bread, crust removed shopping list
- 3 or 4 cups chicken (white meat) cubed shopping list
- 4 oz can mushrooms drained shopping list
- 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts, drained shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 can cream of celery soup shopping list
- ½ cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 oz chopped pimento shopping list
- Slices of American cheese shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix shopping list
- butter shopping list
How to make it
- Layer the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan or glass dish with slices of bread. Add layer of chicken, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
- Mix together: cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, mayo and pimento. Pour over chicken and top with slices of American cheese.
- Beat 2 eggs, milk and salt. Pour over everything and refrigerate overnight. Bake 350 (325 for glass) for 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Sprinkle with Pepperidge farm Herb stuffing mix and dot with butter.
- Bake another 15 minutes
