French Silk Pie

This is a delicious frozen chocolate pie in a peppermint ice cream crust. Change the flavor of the crust if you aren't a fan of peppermint. Looks good, tastes good.
Ingredients
- 1 pint peppermint ice cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 sq. bitter chocolate shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Let ice cream soften then work it around to cover sides and bottom of a pie pan. Make ice cream low in the center of pan. Freeze.
- Melt chocolate. Cool.
- Cream butter & sugar with mixer on high.
- Add chocolate and vanilla to mixture.
- Add 1 egg. Beat 5 minutes.
- Add 2nd egg and beat 5 minutes. Pour into crust and freeze.
- Lay sheet of wax paper over till time to serve.
