One Bowl Fudgy GF Brownies Recipe

This is adapted from the Baker's chocolate one bowl recipe.I made a few changes to make it GF.This is not low fat,sugar-free or dairy free.It is just a very satisfying and easy chocolate treat.And your guests will never know what's missing!

  • 4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs,beaten
  • 1 tsp.vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sweet rice flour
  • 1/4 cup tapioca starch
  • 1 tsp.xanthan gum
  • 1 cup coarsley chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) optional

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.Line a 9X13 baking pan with foil,with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.Grease foil.
  2. Sift sweet rice flour,tapioca starch and xanthan gum in a small bowl,set aside.
  3. Microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwable bowl on HIGH for 2 minutes,or until butter is melted.Stir until chocolate is melted.Stir in sugar,vanilla and eggs.Add rice flour mixture and nuts,stir well.Spread into prepared pan.
  4. Bake 25 minutes,or until toothpick inserted comes out with fudgy crumbs.Careful to not overbake.Cool pan on wire rack.Remove brownies from pan using foil handles.Cut into squares.
  5. Try not to eat all at once.
