coconut beer shrimp

- 1/2 cup flour, all purpose shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup beer ( reserve 1/2 ) shopping list
- 2 cups veg. oil shopping list
- 1 egg white shopping list
- 1 lb. shrimp peeled & deveined shopping list
- 14 cup coconut flakes shopping list
- 1 cup jesabel sauce ( recipe to follow) shopping list
How to make it
- In mixing bowl sift together the dry ingredients. slowly add the beer. whisk briskly and let stand 1 hour. Drink reserved beer ! Heat oil to 375 . whip egg white and fold into batter.dip shrimp in batter and roll in coconut or vice versa. fry for 2-3 min or golden in color. serve at once with sauce on side.
