Creamy Chicken Stroganoff

- 4 chicken breast halves without skin, sliced into strips shopping list
- 3 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, stem trimmed and sliced shopping list
- 2 medium onions, sliced 1/4" thick shopping list
- 1 small green pepper, stem and seeds removed, sliced into strips 1 1/2" long shopping list
- 1 chicken bouillon cube, or chicken soup base shopping list
- 3/4 cup white wine shopping list
- salt , to taste shopping list
- hot pepper, to taste, Hot Shot brand shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in skillet. Brown chicken strips and remove with slotted spoon and keep warm.
- Add onion, garlic and green pepper to pan. Stir until wilted. Add mushrooms and continue to stir until mushrooms are cooked through. Add chicken back to pan. Add salt & Hot Shot to taste.
- Add boullion cube to pan and crush with the back of a spoon. Add white wine, stir, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream and simmer until well combined, but do not boil.
- Serve over noodles.
- NOTE: To make this GF, make Glutino tagliatelle noodles. They taste exactly the same as regular egg noodles!
