Kids love pizza and these quick mini pizzas are sure to be a hit. Add any additional toppings you and your kids love. They are simply delicious with the light and crispy tortilla crust which gives it both an Italian and Mexican flair.

Ingredients
  • 4 (8-inch) Flour Tortillas
  • Vegetable Oil Cooking Spray
  • 8 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 8 Tsp Minced Onion
  • 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 8 Tsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Desired Variety of Toppings: mushrooms, peppers, black olives etc.

Directions
  1. Place tortillas on a baking sheet which has been coated with cooking spray.
  2. Bake at 400 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  3. Turn the tortillas; spread tomato sauce evenly over each tortilla, leaving a 1/s inch border around the edge.
  4. Sprinkle tortillas with minced onions, Italian seasoning, and parmesan and mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
  5. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until edges are golden cheese is melted.
  6. Cut each pizza into 4 wedges.
  7. Serve with ranch sauce as a dip if desired, simply yummy for children and adults alike! Enjoy! :-)

I've never tried using tortillas for my homemade pizza---great idea! (would be much easier than the homemade pizza crust, that's for sure!) :)

Interesting idea....i'm totally saving it , me and my sister loovvveee pizza.. basically i love all the variety of cuisines...so the mexican touch to this classic italian dish gets a thumbs up from me!


Oh hey .. i think u made a "boo-boo" ;) .. in step one under directions.. you wrote baking "cheese" isn't it supposed to be ..baking "sheet" ? i know everyone must've understood..but i don't want them laughing at you..so i told you ..if i'm wrong and it's supposed to be baking cheese ..let me know.


I do pretty much the same thing, but i use whole wheat pitas. they stand up to the sauce a little better, and loads of delicious ingredients :)
