How to make it

  • In a bowl combine flour and salt.
  • Add enough water to hold dough together.
  • Knead for 5 min. until smooth.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap & set at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 6 pieces, lightly flour your hands & work surface then shape dough into balls and flatten them.
  • Roll out circles to 6" diameter.
  • Brush lightly with olive oil, sprinkle sesame seeds & cumin.
  • Press lightly into dough.
  • Lightly oil a skillet & heat over medium heat.
  • Place dough circle in skillet & flip when dark brown spots appear. (appriximately 3 minutes per side)
  • Flip and repeat.
  • Transfer to platter & cover to keep warm until ready to serve.

    It was good thanks - yeah it was a bit like making a tortilla... I made a tofu and veg salad with leftover ingredients, put some cheese, sliced tomatoes and avocado on it - mmm tasty sandwhiches.
