Cumin And Sesame Flatbread

- 2 cups unbleached white flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- olive for brushing shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds shopping list
- 3/4 tsp ground cumin shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl combine flour and salt.
- Add enough water to hold dough together.
- Knead for 5 min. until smooth.
- Wrap in plastic wrap & set at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Divide dough into 6 pieces, lightly flour your hands & work surface then shape dough into balls and flatten them.
- Roll out circles to 6" diameter.
- Brush lightly with olive oil, sprinkle sesame seeds & cumin.
- Press lightly into dough.
- Lightly oil a skillet & heat over medium heat.
- Place dough circle in skillet & flip when dark brown spots appear. (appriximately 3 minutes per side)
- Flip and repeat.
- Transfer to platter & cover to keep warm until ready to serve.
