Dads Bbq Pork Ribs Recipe

Dads BBQ Pork Ribs Recipe
My dad perfected this recipe after some experimentation, and now it's a family favorite. Easy, simple marinade really peps up this no-grill family pleaser

Ingredients
  • 1 large section pork ribs
  • 5-6 oz barbeque sauce*
  • 4-5 oz distilled white vinegar*
  • liberal portions of a good BBQ rub
  • * our recipe calls for 1/3 of a coffee mug, so I'm estimating here; what's important is a liberal marinade of equal parts BBQ sauce and vinegar

Directions
  1. lay pork ribs, meaty side up, on a flat surface covered with foil; curve foil up so that it creates a "boat" for the marinade while leaving the top of the ribs exposed
  2. generously season with BBQ rub across top and sides
  3. mix equal parts BBQ sauce and white vinegar in a coffee mug (should be 2/3 full when completed) and whisk together with a fork
  4. pour the mixture over the ribs
  5. fold up ends of foil and cover with an additional sheet of foil
  6. refrigerate at least 3 hours
  7. place ribs in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes
  8. remove ribs and cut away top layer of foil; add additional BBQ sauce on top
  9. continue to cook at 400 degrees for an additional 15 minutes--then serve to a hungry family!
