Hoisin sauce spiked with honey,seasoned rice vinegar,ginger,and chili paste with garlic makes a tasty base for a barbecue sauce.

Ingredients
  • 2Tbs hoisin sauce
  • 11/2tsp honey
  • 1/2tsp seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/2tsp grated ,peeled fresh ginger
  • 1/2tsp chili paste with garlic
  • 1lb beef tenderloin fillets,cut into 16 cubes
  • 16(2") pieces green onion(about 4 onions)
  • 16 grape tomatoes
  • cooking spray

Directions
  1. Preheat grill to med-high heat.
  2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a med. bowl. Add beef to bowl;toss well to coat. Let stand at room temperature 20 mins.
  3. Thread 4 beef cubes,4 onion pieces,and 4 tomatoes alternately onto each of 4(12") skewers. Place kabobs on a grill rack coated with cooking spray;grill 5 mins on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
