Ingredients

How to make it

  • Pell potato if you wish-not necessary.
  • Slice thinly with a chef's nice or mandilin.
  • Rinse with cold water.
  • Drain well in a colander or in paper towels
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350 degress.
  • You will know when it's hot enough when a potato slice sizzles in contact.
  • Fry chips a few at a time, stirring occasionaly to prevent from sticking
  • When all chips are done, drain and place in a large bowl.
  • In a seperate smaller bowl, add 1 tavlesoon of the hot frying oil.
  • Add garlic and let sit for 30 secconds (After 30 secconds, DO NOT remove garlic).
  • Add curry powder, and salt and pepper.
  • Mix well to combine.
  • Drizzle mixture over chips immediately.
  • Toss gently to coat well.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • So this is how you make curry potato chips.
