Sweet French dressing for your fruit salad adapted from old faithful Betty Crocker. Serving size 2 tablespoons.

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup oil (olive or your choice)
  • 2 Tbsp + 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp + 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2/3 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/3 tsp paprika
  • 4 Tbsp confectioners' sugar (powdered sugar)

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together well.
  2. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
  3. Shake or stir before serving on your favorite fruit dish.

Gotta love Betty! This is wonderful stuff. I even put it on veggie salads when I was a kid. Mom wore her cookbook out, so I never go this one. Thanks!


I remember this dressing with great fondness, one of best reasons to eat salads or coax a reluctant greens eater into trying something good. Wonderful stuff.
