A crisp twist to a holiday punch.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 1 cup vodka, rum or gin
  • 1/8t peppermint extract
  • 1/2t vanilla extract
  • 2 32oz bottles chilled club soda or seltzer(or reduce sugar and lime juice and use lemon-lime carbonated drink)
  • 10 Mini candy canes

Directions
  1. Make a simple syrup with sugar and water and let cool.
  2. Combine lime juice, alcohol and extract. Add simple syrup.
  3. Chill and add soda just before serving.
  4. Hang mini cane over each glass to use as a stirrer.
