Hot And Spicy Suasage Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. mild Italian sausage links, castings removed
  • 2 cups sliced green or red bell peppers
  • 3 1/2 cups Contadina pasta ready chunky tomatoes with spicy red pepper, undrained
  • hot cooked pasta

Directions
  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sausage, cook, stirring to break into small pieces, for 5 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain, reserving 1 Tbsp. oil in skillet.
  3. Add bell peppers to skillet. Reduce heat to medium, cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  4. Stir in tomatoes and juice. Reduce heat to low, cook for 5 to 7 minutes to develop flavor.
  5. Serve over pasta.
