I brought this to a party over the week end and was asked for the recipe for this moist and tasty cornbread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs fork beaten
  • 1, 11 oz can of sweet corn kernals drained

Directions
  1. Warm half and half with butter to melt butter and when warm add to
  2. remaining combined ingredients ( except eggs and corn ) .
  3. Blend well, stir in eggs and corn.
  4. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  5. Bake 350F about 30 minutes or tested done and golden.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Cut into pieces.
  8. Freezes well.
