Artichoke Quiche Recipe
Quiche is a wonderful lunch or first course or snack....everybody loves a well made quiche --the pastry shell is key.

Ingredients
  • 1 9" quiche pastry shell, partially baked
  • 2 6 oz. jars marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp oregano
  • 1/8 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsps finely chopped parsley

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Drain artichokes, reserving the marinade.
  2. Saute onion and grlic in marinade for 5 minutes.
  3. Beat egg and add bread crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and Tabasco.
  4. Stir in cheese, parsley, artichokes and onion mixture.
  5. Pour into partially baked shell and bake 45 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
