This is a really good casserole to fix.. Serve with good french bread and a salad...

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cans meatless mushroom speghetti sauce (10 1/4 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 pound fine noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated or shredded
  • Seasoning salt

Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillett; add onion and cook until golden.
  2. Add meat and cook until meat loses its read color.
  3. Add mushroom speghetti sauce and salt; heat.
  4. Arrange in baking dish half of noodles; half of sauce; half of cheese.
  5. Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  6. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with cheese
  8. Bake in preheated oven 325 degrees for about one hour.
  9. Top should be nicely browned.
  10. Makes 8 to 10 generous servings.
